Privacy policy
In short: there are no accounts and no forms. The estimator runs entirely in your browser, and the numbers you enter are not sent to us. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we are
CloudCostCompare (cloudcostcompare.net) is run by Rohit Athaide, based in India. For any privacy question or request, email evilsk3leton@gmail.com.
What we collect
Your estimator inputs
The estimator calculates costs in your browser. The values you enter are kept in the page address (so you can bookmark or share an estimate) and are not sent to us or stored by us.
Server logs
Like any website, our hosting provider receives technical details when you load a page: your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These are used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix faults, and are kept only for a limited period set by the hosting provider.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and delete them when no longer needed.
Cookies and browser storage
We store your privacy choices in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. This is strictly necessary, sets no cookie and is never sent to us.
We currently use no optional cookies, analytics, advertising or other tracking.
You can change your choices at any time with “Privacy choices” at the bottom of every page.
Why we process data
- Server logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website.
- Replying to your emails: your request.
Sharing
We don't sell personal data. Data is shared only with service providers that run the site for us (such as our hosting provider), or when the law requires it. Some providers may process data outside your country, with safeguards required by law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, the EU or UK GDPR, or California privacy law), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent, or complain to your data protection authority. Email us and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Children
This site is meant for professionals and is not directed at children.

We will update this page when what we collect changes, and change the date at the top.
